Year 2: The Litany
If you have not yet taken the time to review the introductory notes on how to get the most out of the study series, we’d like to invite you to do that now! View the introductory notes here.
If you’re just starting out with “622”, then Year 1 is the best place to begin.
The second year of 622 draws inspiration from the Litany, which at its heart is an invitation to enter into the presence of an awesome God, and to bring before him the myriad concerns that shape our lives: concerns for our world, for the church, and for our own wellbeing. The Litany doesn’t shy away from confronting darkness, but recognizes that we have a sovereign God who is merciful towards us, and that we have been given the privilege of approaching him through what Christ did for us.
Following are the links to the documents that you will need to run the curriculum: the “Litany” service booklet, an optional booklet containing the “Prayers and Thanksgivings” section from the BCP, and the leader’s notes and student handouts for each of the 42 lessons. We’re excited and hopeful about what God will do in your group in the coming year!

Let us know how it’s going!
We’d love to hear from you on what is working well and what can be improved in future projects. And in the meantime, we’ll be praying for you!
Almighty God, who hast committed to thy holy Church the care and nurture of thy children: Enlighten with thy wisdom those who teach and those who learn, that, rejoicing in the knowledge of thy truth, they may worship thee and serve thee all the days of their life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. BCP p. 47
