The aims and objectives of the PBSC are to promote the understanding and use of the Book of Common Prayer as a spiritual system of nurture for life in Christ, and
- To participate in the evangelisation of Canada;
- To foster rediscovery and deepen awareness of the Book of Common Prayer and the doctrine that it teaches;
- To serve as a resource for those who may be unfamiliar with traditional theology but who desire to grow as faithful, believing and informed communicants of the Anglican Church of Canada.
As one of the largest national organizations within the Anglican Church in Canada, the Prayer Book Society enjoys an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to faithful Christian witness in this country.
The Prayer Book Society of Canada is organized into local branches and institutes. Local branches sponsor activities, hold regular meetings and publish newsletters.
You can participate in the Prayer Book Society of Canada by attending programs and events in your area, and through a financial contribution. Include the Society and its objectives in your prayers.
